This series of 60 soft sculptures was made during the Engaging Residency organized by More Art and Artist Volunteer Center and focusing on homelessness. This series was inspired by the volunteer work done during the residency and by the characters that are part of our daily and urban life, such as can collectors, homeless people, people on wheelchairs. Most of them carry or push a physical weight. The outlines of the soft sculptures' body merge with the shape of the weight they carry. Urban Characters relates to the body and the place we occupy.
