For Silhouettes, public art installation at The Church of St. Eustache in Paris, France in December 2012, I created a set of site-specific neon sculptures which were the outlines of my parents and sisters. Five neon silhouettes were adopting positions of contemplation and serenity. Silhouettes is impregnated with the mystery and aura of The Church of St. Eustache. Subdued lights appear suddenly here and there in the church. When lit, the individual figures exist only through their contours, illuminating the spirit of the subject and the spirit of the place.
Rubis Mécénat curated the exhibition and commissioned the art pieces.
